Membership

CPEN membership is open to University of Chicago alumni investing capital in the following stages: angel/seed, venture capital, mezzanine financing, growth equity, buyouts, corporate venture, and other institutionalized private equity gatekeepers and limited partners. Alumni working in the various service provider industries that serve the private equity markets are invited to join CPEN as sponsors. CPEN is not open to students. Join now.

The membership rate is $100. As a CPEN member, you will have access to resources to enrich your career:

• Free or discounted access to CPEN events
• Members-only access to bulletin board discussion on all areas of private equity, including deal syndication solicitation, new deal announcements, current job postings (for portfolio companies and funds), and searches for specific due diligence expertise.
• Members-only access to CPEN membership directories with advanced search capability, allowing you to identify CPEN members working for funds that match specific investment criteria.

In addition, CPEN estimates that:

• There are more than 550 alumni working in all stages of private equity investing on five continents.
• U of C graduates manage in excess of $150,000,000,000 of private equity capital, execution of more than half a $1,000,000,000 in transactions per year in more than 1,700 portfolio companies.
